Take the right course for 2024
Reveal trends that will influence your projects this year
Hello, it’s Daniel!
I’ve read those tens of “trends” articles during the not-so-long New Year holidays. It’s important to know what all these tendencies are as they are typically associated with things happening now and in the near future. The shocking innovations, “black swans,” or extraordinary events are not on the list, but the general vector of the industry is visible.
Check your plans for 2024 if they take these trends into account to support your growth.
Mature market — Increased regulations — More “exquisite” fraud
Central Bank Digital Currencies are here! This is a huge sign for everyone that the future of digital assets is here. It is not as cloudless as imagined, but crypto showed its resilience last year. So things we should expect:
Regulation and control will be looking for balance with decentralization and anonymity features. And, of course, everything will be poured with the sauce of “care for security.”
Fraudsters won’t get anywhere; their techniques will just get more sophisticated. They will find a way to avoid law limitations and do their tricks. I still believe in the environmental prevention of fraud via technological infrastructure.
Governments and banks will further try to bring their rules and mindset into the blockchain, influencing the fees and taxes, but they will also start to adopt the technological essence of the chains for their operations.
Innovations on chain’s limitations and interoperability — DeFi’s golden hour — Mainstream blockchain adoption
Scaling solutions for layer 2 technologies, corporate blockchain and crypto applications, and DeFi tools of all kinds—oh yeah, this year is like a gift for us, as my team and I had prepared for it through all of 2023! The innovations we expect to become popular will extend the current limitations and imperfections of chains’ operations, making projects that utilize them even more secure, faster, and more efficient.
"By 2024 and beyond, the advancement of blockchain interoperability protocols will mark a major shift by breaking down the existing silos between different..”
Also, blockchain technology will be tightly integrated with AI, AR, education, healthcare, and voting systems—and nothing of it is highly new—but it’s important that it becomes massive and mainstream.
Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO) can significantly change how communities rule themselves and make decisions utilizing blockchain, but the perfect matching platform for it has yet to appear.
Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization will take investment practices to another level, making it possible to invest, for example, in real estate in a new way. Or smart contracts for the insurance claims—why not? Such adoptions become even more frequent.
Modularity as a must — Blooming Zero-Knowledge Proofs
In 2024, the monolithic architecture of platforms will show them even slower than before, unable to cope with fast network changes. Modularity approach, especially that aimed at strengthening network connections, will give a competitive edge even in the face of existing market giants
And about ZKPs, I’ve told you before. This tool may bring fascinating results for highly tech-saturated projects and yesterday’s Web2 organizations.
What will you ask Santa about this year?
All gamers want to play and get their satisfaction from the process, and if the game is boring—no matter what the tokenomics is. That’s a rule that will show what projects will rise and what will fall in 2024. Discover more in the 4pillars report. The technical toolkit for making web3 games was never better, like this:

My own vision of the future 2024
Tokenization will reach its pinnacle: everything will get its copy as a digital asset, from ancient jewelry to whole cities.
People of blockchain and crypto still will have a strong request for decentralization, trustlessness, and freedom, which are at the core of blockchain.
The NFTs, DAO, and other blockchain-based approaches may be a solution that gives enough control and brings order to the community or a project.
It’s such a delight that my team and I could anticipate most of these trends in 2023 and implement them into our solutions. Well done, Dysnix fellas!
